Tai Chi

Tai Chi

Originating in China there are many styles and forms of tai chi. Tai Chi is moving meditation - an art embracing the mind, body and spirit - using movement, breath to cultivate chi (Energy) to flow through our body.

Tai chi incorporates the principles of yin and yang. It is a way of life, experienced, lived fully and
a lifelong journey for many.
Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner accompanied
by the breath. Each posture and move flows into the next without pause, ensuring a consistent flow of movement.

The benefits:

  • Helps improve flexibility, health and well-being,

  • Calm emotions and improves mood,

  • Reduce stress, enhances sleep

  • Brings greater peace,

  • Improve balance and co-ordination.

  • Increases energy and vitality

Chi is the life force energy that flow through all things in the universe. It flows through the meridians in the body, if there is an imbalance in the body, the chi may not be flowing properly
or there may be blocked chi. Performing Tai Chi or Qi Gong can help stimulate the flow of chi
in the body. Resulting in your improved health and well-being, enhanced grounding and feeling more at peace and centred.
